ATEX Axial Ring Fan – Explosion Proof Duct Fan for Zone 1 & 2 Hazardous Areas

The VN-Duct ATEX is a high-capacity explosion proof axial duct fan, engineered for safe and efficient ventilation in ATEX Zone 1 and 2 (Gas) and Zone 21 and 22 (Dust). Built for industrial environments where flammable gases or combustible dust may be present, it offers a robust and adaptable solution for explosion-sensitive areas.

Available in diameters from 310 mm to 1,600 mm, the VN-Duct can handle airflow volumes up to 200,000 m³/h and pressure levels up to 1,600 Pa. Its modular design allows for full customization of impeller type, blade angle, motor speed, and casing material, ensuring an optimal fit for a wide range of industrial applications.

The fan is powered by an ATEX-certified IP55 motor, suitable for 230V single-phase or 400V three-phase operation. It supports both motor-to-impeller and impeller-to-motor airflow configurations and can be controlled with a frequency converter for precise speed adjustment.

Casing options include steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, and the impeller is available in plastic or aluminum, with adjustable blades for performance tuning. A comprehensive range of accessories—from inlet cones and silencers to anti-vibration mounts and inspection windows—enables tailored integration into any industrial ventilation system.
