ATEX-Certified Forward Curved Centrifugal Fan for Hazardous Areas

The VN-DIC / -Forward / -AL ATEX is a high-performance explosion proof fan designed for use in hazardous areas where flammable gases or combustible dusts are present. Featuring forward-curved blades for optimal airflow, the fan is available in sizes ranging from 100 to 450 mm, with a maximum air capacity of 16,000 m³/h. It is housed in a durable steel or stainless steel casing and equipped with an ATEX-certified motor, making it suitable for use in ATEX Zones 1 and 2 (gas) as well as Zones 21 and 22 (dust). A wide range of optional accessories—including protective grids, anti-vibration mounts, and acoustic insulation—allows for flexible integration into various industrial settings.

Engineered specifically for hazardous environments, this fan offers outstanding airflow efficiency and operates at pressures up to 1,400 Pa. It supports both 230V single-phase and 400V three-phase power supplies. The IP55-rated motor provides reliable protection against dust and water ingress, ensuring long-term operational safety.

The fan’s robust design features a steel or stainless steel 304/316 construction with an optional epoxy coating for added corrosion resistance. It is compatible with frequency converters, allowing adjustable speed control to meet specific application requirements. Additional optional components include inspection windows, vibration damping systems, acoustic insulation, and flexible duct connections.
