The Tab-Ex® 03 DZ1 is an intrinsically safe tablet designed for use in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1/21 and Division 1. Running on the latest Android™ 13 operating system, this tablet offers powerful performance and a wide range of features for efficient and safe operation in demanding industrial environments.
Powered by an Exynos 9810 (Lhotse) Octa-Core 64-Bit chipset with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1 TB via microSD), the Tab-Ex® 03 DZ1 provides ample power and storage for running applications and storing data. The 8" TFT display features a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and a brightness of 480 nits, allowing for easy readability even in challenging lighting conditions. The touch screen can be operated with gloves or in wet conditions and snow.

It offers comprehensive wireless connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz) with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth® v5.0, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC EMV L1. The device also supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo for precise location tracking.
The Tab-Ex® 03 DZ1 supports a wide range of cellular frequency bands for global connectivity, including 4G LTE (FDD and TDD), 3G UMTS, and 2G GSM. A US version is available with specific LTE support for major carriers like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. The tablet features a 13 MP autofocus rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, with an optional non-camera version available for environments where cameras are restricted.
